Meet Jenn: Sistability's Care Manager
Jenn Robertson has been part of the Sistability team from day one, and in five years, she has become the person that clients, families and colleagues turn to when it matters most.
As Sistability's Care Manager, Jenn brings a background in administration, sales and events to a role that demands all of it. She is organised, personable and knows how to get things done. But more than that, she has become one of the most important people in the organisation, not because of her title, but because of the way she shows up, every single day, for the people who depend on her and for the colleagues who work alongside her.
From Our Founder: Why I Started Sistability and What Still Drives Me Every Day
Sistability was born in 2018 when my sister Holi and I watched two family members struggle to get the in-home support they needed. The services existed, at least in theory. But finding a provider who was reliable, genuinely caring, and capable of working with someone in a complex situation? That was another thing entirely. We kept hitting walls. We kept being let down. And we kept thinking: this can't be how it works for everyone.
It was. And in many ways, it still is.
Four Years of Bezza: What Beryl's Anniversary Says About the Way We Work
Beryl has been part of the Sistability team for four years. In that time she has built genuine, lasting relationships with her regular clients, the kind that take time and consistency to develop and that make a real difference to the people on the receiving end.
She is the person who steps up when the team needs cover. Who takes on extra shifts without being asked twice. Who shows up reliably, week after week, and brings the same care and attention every time. Her clients know her. They trust her. And that trust does not come from a roster. It comes from Beryl. These are the things we look for when we hire. And they can't be faked in an interview for long.
Curious About the Working with Sistability? Join Us Next Month and See What It’s Really Like
If you have ever wondered what it is really like to work in cleaning, gardening or support services, or you are thinking about a new job but not sure where to start, we would love to invite you to an upcoming information and employment event in Ballina.
On Wednesday 18 February 2026, Sistability is partnering with Local Jobs Program (DEWR) North Coast to host a relaxed, welcoming session designed to give people a clear and honest understanding of the work we do and the opportunities available.
This event is about opening the conversation. It is a chance to learn more, ask questions, meet real employers, and get a feel for whether this type of work might be right for you.
Sistability Takes Home Two Awards at the 2025 Ballina Business Awards!
We’re still buzzing from Saturday night’s incredible celebration at the 2025 Ballina Business Awards—and we couldn’t be more proud of the recognition Sistability received. On that exciting evening, our small but mighty team was honoured with TWO awards:
🏆 Employer of Choice (under 20 employees)
🏆 Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion
These awards are more than just trophies on a shelf—they’re a reflection of everything Sistability stands for and everything we’ve worked so hard to achieve since our founding. As a company that was built on heart, hard work, and a deep mission to do things differently, this recognition means the world to us.
Australia’s vulnerable hit hard with nationwide staff shortages
The severe nationwide shortage of staff has also impacted Sistability who primarily provide services to NDIS participants and Aged Care clients across Sydney and the Northern Rivers NSW. Due to the pandemic and the numerous lockdowns that have taken place, we’ve been unable to bring new clients on board as many of our own staff had to cease work and stay home to look after their own families.
Sistability field staff vaccinated against COVID-19
As a registered provider, Sistability Pty Ltd will only send out staff members who have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine to-date; and at least two doses on and after 29 November 2021 to service our disability (NDIS) clients.
Sistability staff who are providing supports to NDIS clients in their homes have provided proof of vaccination which is being held on file by Sistability.
