Cleaning & Laundry T&Cs

  • We schedule all bookings as soon as a signed service agreement has been received. We will do our best to schedule your appointment/s to take place at the same time, on the same day for each scheduled service, unless we receive specific instructions, from you or your nominee, to change this.

  • Please note that Sistability has a 2-hour minimum service time for all cleaning and laundry services.

  • If you do have a pet we ask that you keep them restrained and/ or in an area where our team members will not require access to avoid any unnecessary incidents.

    While we love pets, our team members do not clean animal waste or remove it from the property.

  • If you are any member of the house, smokes indoors.

    For the safety of our team members, we ask that all members of the household refrain from smoking indoors while our team members are onsite. In addition to this, we kindly ask that you make every attempt to clear your home of any smoke by opening all possible windows and doors at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled clean. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Gardening & Lawns T&Cs

  • We schedule all bookings after a signed Service Agreement has been received. Your service will take place on the same day of the week for each service unless otherwise notified by us via email, phone or text message.

    This Quote/ Service Agreement is based on a recurring service schedule. If this service schedule is not followed (i.e. appointments are cancelled by the client etc.) additional charges may be incurred for the following appointment due to an increased time required to complete the job. The quoted price, staffing requirements, and our capacity to accept clients are based on service schedules for regular clients.

  • Please note that Sistability has a 1.5-hour minimum service time for lawn care services and a 2-hour minimum service time for other gardening services.

  • The client will give Sistability access to the property at all such reasonable times as may be required to carry out the required services. If access is unable to be obtained and Sistability has not been notified by the Client (or the Client’s nominee) to cancel or reschedule a booking 48 hours in advance, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged to the Client.

    It is the Client's responsibility to move any potted plants or furniture as Sistability does not accept responsibility for damage as a result of moving such items. The Client is also responsible for providing a clear working environment, including moving trampolines, toys, rubbish and animal waste. In the event that Sistability has to clean the site, then further costs will be incurred.

  • All bookings are subject to weather conditions. Inclement weather (i.e. if it’s unsafe or unreasonable for a team member to work because of severe weather conditions) may result in bookings being rescheduled. Whilst every effort is made to anticipate weather-related cancellations, Sistability may need to reschedule bookings without prior notice.

  • If you do have a pet we ask that you keep them restrained and/ or in an area where our team members will not require access to avoid any unnecessary incidents. While we love pets, our team members WILL NOT clean animal waste or remove it from the lawn/garden area. All animal waste must be removed prior to the appointment, otherwise, the team may not be able to complete the work and this will result in a fee for the client.

 

General Terms of Service

  • Identification of Pre-Existing Items:

    a. Prior to the commencement of Sistability services, the client agrees to identify and disclose any pre-existing faulty, broken, or damaged items within the property, including but not limited to door knobs, fixtures, or any other household items.

    b. Additionally, during the initial onsite assessment conducted by Sistability staff, reasonable efforts will be made to identify and document any pre-existing faulty, broken, or damaged items within the property.

    Exclusion of Responsibility:

    a. Sistability shall not be responsible for repairing, replacing, or bearing any costs associated with the repair or replacement of pre-existing faulty or broken items within the property.

    Acknowledgment of Condition:

    a. The client acknowledges that Sistability assumes responsibility for damages or breakages limited to property or items that do not display pre-existing faults or damages and are solely attributable to the actions of a Sistability team member.

    Mitigation of Damages:

    a. Sistability will exercise due diligence to avoid exacerbating pre-existing faults or damages during the provision of services.

    b. In the event where Sistability inadvertently worsens a pre-existing fault or damage, it shall be promptly reported to the client for assessment and resolution.

    Costs Incurred:

    a. Any costs associated with repairing or replacing pre-existing faulty or broken items within the property shall be the sole responsibility of the client.

    Confirmation of Understanding:

    a. By engaging Sistability's services, the client confirms understanding and agreement to the terms regarding pre-existing faulty or broken items within the property.

  • General Clause:

    a. Sistability will exercise reasonable care and skill in the provision of services. However, any breakages or damages occurring during the provision of services where client-supplied products are used shall be subject to the following terms and conditions.

    Use of Client-Supplied Products:

    a. Sistability may use products provided by the client upon request.

    b. The client acknowledges that the quality and suitability of the supplied products are their responsibility.

    c. Sistability will exercise reasonable care when using client-supplied products but cannot guarantee against breakages or damages that may occur due to the nature or quality of the supplied items.

    Liability for Breakages or Damages:

    a. Sistability shall not be held liable for breakages or damages to the property caused by the use of client-supplied products.

    b. The client accepts full responsibility for any breakages, damages, or adverse outcomes resulting from the use of their supplied products during Sistability services.

    Client's Duty of Disclosure:

    a. The client agrees to disclose any relevant information about the nature, condition, or potential risks associated with the supplied products before their use during Sistability services.

    b. Failure to disclose such information may release Sistability from any liability pertaining to damages or breakages caused by the undisclosed aspects of the supplied products.

    Indemnity:

    a. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Sistability, its employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from damages or breakages caused by the use of client-supplied products during services.

    Notification of Damages:

    a. In the event of any breakages or damages occurring during services, Sistability shall promptly notify the client.

    b. The client agrees to assess the damages and work with Sistability to find a resolution, considering the nature and cause of the damage.

    Amendments to Terms:

    a. Sistability reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

    b. Changes will be communicated to the client and will become effective upon acknowledgment or continued use of Sistability services.

  • No service will be carried out on Public Holidays. If you wish to schedule an additional service date to cover a service that falls on a public holiday, we suggest you contact us ASAP with your preferred date and time however we cannot guarantee availability.

  • If changes to the supports or their delivery are required, the parties agree to discuss and review this Service Agreement. The parties agree that any changes to this Service Agreement will be in writing, signed, and dated by the parties.

  • Just as we consider the safety and well-being of our clients/ Participants, we also have a responsibility to provide a safe work environment for our team members. If at any time a member of our team feels unsafe, or the environment (i.e. the Participants home and /or surrounds) becomes unsafe for one of our team members to be in, they will leave the premises promptly and full charges of the booked service will apply.
